Cloverdale Bridge
Bridgeway Civil Constructors, Inc. completed construction of the Alexander Valley Apartments Bridge in Cloverdale, California, providing a new vehicular connection for the Alexander Valley Apartments development.
The completed bridge is a 36-foot-long by 32-foot-wide structure featuring a prefabricated modular rolled steel girder bridge with a reinforced concrete deck. The bridge is supported by reinforced cast in place concrete abutments and wingwalls supported on 24-inch-diameter CIDH piers. Construction included the drilled pier foundations, concrete abutments and wingwalls, steel girder erection and assembly, diaphragms, stay-in-place deck forms, reinforced steel concrete deck, and pedestrian and vehicular railing systems.
The project was completed to provide a durable and functional bridge connection for the residential development, incorporating structural steel, reinforced concrete, and safety railing systems into a compact bridge structure designed for vehicular and pedestrian use.
