This project consisted of new construction of a pedestrian trail over 500’ long, including two Structural Concrete Retaining Walls, Structural Concrete Wetland Wall on Reinforced Concrete Pile, over 500 cubic yards of import material, Asphalt Concrete pedestrian trail pavement, bicycle lane striping, and architectural hand railing. Partnering was a large part of the success of the project, including several retaining wall alignment redesigns on-the-spot, to avoid existing utilities, and revise the overlook, for a better final product for the public.

San Jose Trail: Thompson Creek Tully to Quimby

The Thompson Creek Trail project was built for the City of San Jose. It consisted of new construction of a pedestrian trail over 5000 ft long, including a new waterline 12” water line running the full length, over 500 ft of structural concrete retaining wall, asphalt concrete pedestrian trail pavement, bicycle lane striping, and amenities such as ADA ramps, park benches, and architectural hand railing. The linear nature and location of the project posed access and egress challenges that were overcome with thorough pre-planning and execution.
